PRESIDENT Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III said that he has offered five government posts to Vice President Jejomar Binay.
At a dinner with the Malacanang Press Corps Tuesday, the President said: "I gave him five choices. He can choose any from that. Someone told me that he is reconsidering it."
But Aquino refused to reveal the positions.
Binay earlier expressed the Department of Interior and Local Government post but the President instead picked former Naga City mayor Jesse Robredo.
Aquino said he knows what post Binay is eyeing but refused to name it, saying "Sana pakibilisan lang niya. Nababawasan na ang inalok ko, kailangan ko talaga ng tao."
Some of the agencies needed to be filled up are Metro Manila Development Authority, Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council, and Government Service Insurance System, among others. (Jill Beltran/Sunnex)
