Arts and media workshops set

NSW is a multi-disciplinary arts and media workshops held every summer at the University of St La Salle campus in Bacolod from April 12 to May 8.

NSW caps the workshop experience with the 12th Crystal Piaya Video Competition, a P25,000 video competition open to all amateur and professional video and filmmakers, both participants and non-participants of the workshops.

It accepts 3-35 minute video shorts judged according to technical quality and relevance of message. Deadline for entries is on May 3, 2010 at the Office of the Culture & Arts Program Committee (formerly Artist in Residence) USLS.

The 20th Negros Summer Workshops is a project of the Crossing Negros Cultural Foundation Inc. and National Commission for Culture and Arts in cooperation with the University of St. La Salle.

Enrollment is until April 14.
