Ateneo, Lady Knights cruise through semis

THE Ateneo de Davao University (AdDU), Lady Knights Football Club (FC) and Southpoint School (SPS) toppled their respective rivals to secure the last three semis seats in the resumption of the Philippine Football Federation-Davao Football Association (PFF-DFA) Under-14 Girls Championships at the Tionko field over the weekend.

AdDU zeroed in on Real Digos FC, 3-0, while Lady Knights FC also blanked Rizal Memorial College (RMC), 3-0.

SPS, for its part, also won on the same note, 3-0.

Meanwhile, Philippine College of Technology (PCT), Hagonoy National High School (HNHS), AdDU and Mintal Interage scored also eked out contrasting wins in the PFF-DFA Under-15 Boys Championships.

PCT outlasted Philippine Nikkei Jin Kai International School (PNJKIS), 4-3, while Crossing Bayabas National High School (CBNHS)-Instatech and Lasang FC drew, 2-2.

AdDu crushed RMC Bulldogs, 7-0, while HNHS subdued Mintal Interage, 4-1.

MintalInterage, however, bounced back with a 5-2 victory over PCT while AdDU demolished Lasang FC, 5-1.

Both tournaments are sponsored by Khanj T-Shirt, Hinex Janitorial and Allied Services, GHT Water Refilling Station and Laundry Shop and FC Wao. It is also sanctioned by DFA. (KRP)
