Bacolod police to install CCTVs in all 10 police stations

John Paul Villanueva

THE Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) will install closed circuit television (CCTV) cameras in all its 10 police stations.

Senior Superintendent Flynn Dongbo, acting director of BCPO, said on Wednesday that four CCTVs will be placed in every police station to monitor the daily activities of the personnel.

The installation of CCTVs in police stations is in line with the program of the Philippine National Police (PNP), he said.

Dongbo said the budget will be sourced from the support fund of the BCPO.

A CCTV unit was already installed at the lobby of the BCPO headquarters while others will soon be installed in strategic locations inside the compound, he added.
