Broncos face Stallions in Elite Club semis

FOUR teams will slug it in the 1st Elite Basketball Club-Toledo at the CEDC Multipurpose Gym in Toledo City this Friday. The Broncos will headline the knockout semifinal round as they face the fourth-seed Stallions, while No. 2 Huskies take on No. 3 Bobcats. The Broncos finished the elimination round with four wins against one defeat, while the Stallions had 3-2 card. The Huskies and Bobcats also came up with 3-2 slate after the elimination round. The Broncos secured the solo top spot after winning via default against the Broncos. In the other game, the Bulldogs defeated the Leopards, 99-90, to exit with a win last Friday. Both Bulldogs and Leopards, were already eliminated in the tournament. Walter Sayson led the Bulldogs with 24 points and six boards, while Mervin Dahuya paced Leopards with 44 points and 10 rebounds.
