Businesswoman injured in Zamboanga del Norte ambush

A BUSINESSWOMAN was wounded in an ambush in the province of Zamboanga del Norte, the police said Friday, February 24.

Senior Superintendent Edwin Buenaventura Wagan, Zamboanga del Norte police director, identified the victim as Lina Ordineza, 43, of San Roque village, Sirawai town.

Wagan said the incident occurred around 7:28 a.m. Thursday in the village of San Vicente, Sirawai, Zamboanga del Norte.

The police official said Ordineza was driving a motorcycle on her way home after dropping off her children at their school when ambushed by unidentified gunmen.
