Candaba lad tops pharmacy board exams

CANDABA— A 22-year-old pharmacy graduate of this town ranked 1st in the recent national Pharmacy Board Exams.

Francis Gatbondon topped the Pharmacy Board Exams for this year.

Gatbonton was also honored in simple ceremonies at St. Andrews Parish Church here attended by Auxiliary Bishop Roberto Mallari, Mayor Jerry Pelayo and Department of Public Works and Highways Undersecretary Rafael Yabut.

Gatbonton is a graduate of University of the Philippines-Diliman were he took up Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. He took up his high school education at Pampanga High School from 2000-2004.

According to Bishop Mallari, Gatbonton’s achievement places Candaba in the map as a place for achievers.

Meanwhile, Mayor Pelayo said that Gatbonton’s achievement is a clear indication that success could be attained through sheer handwork.

Gatbonton, for his part, dedicated his achievement to his family and town.
