Capitol employees ask for their bonus

Sunnexdesk

MEMBERS of the Provincial Alliance of Capitol Employees (Pace) are asking about the status of their Collective Negotiation Agreement (CNA) bonus that was not released to them until now.

An employee who requested not to be named said that they are supposed to receive P5,000 each.

The CNA bonus was supposed to be released to the Capitol employees in the middle of this year. Under the agreement, the employees are supposed to receive the bonus every year for five years.

According to the employees, they received their bonus last year but the bonus for this year was reportedly withheld because there was lack of clear guidelines from the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) on the matter.

The employee said that the DBM has reportedly approved the release of the CNA bonus.

We want to know if the funds intended for the bonus is available, the concerned employee stated.

The Provincial Capitol has more than 2,000 employees who are members of Pace.
