Cop’s car injures pa, son in Bacolod accident

A MAN and his two-year-old son were injured after a policeman’s vehicle hit their tricycle at Capitol Village, Barangay Granada in Bacolod City around 9:15 a.m. on Thursday.

Chief Inspector Sherlock Gabana, head of Police Station 5, who was driving the car, said Eric Jesus Pacina, 35, and his son are residents of Purok Magbinuligay, Barangay Vista Alegre.

Gabana said he and Pacina were driving towards the same direction. He tried to overtake another car, and hit the rear of Pacina’s tricycle.

The victims sustained minor injuries and were brought to a hospital.

Gabana was in the vehicle with Police Officer 1 Erhex Branyl. They were unharmed.
