THE Investigation Section (R7) of the Police Regional Office (PRO)-Davao is conducting a pre-charge evaluation to determine the administrative charges to be filed against police personnel in charged during the escape of four prisoners from the Tagum City Police Station last June 9.

"The investigation report from the Davao del Norte Police Office was already forwarded to the PRO-11. R7 is now conducting a pre-charge investigation to determine the admin charges to be filed," said PRO-Davao spokesperson Superintendent Antonio Rivera.

Rivera, however, refused to name the policemen.

Last June 9, four inmates escaped during a heavy downpour early in the morning. They were reported to have exited through the main door of the police station that was located just outside the Tagum City Hall.

Authorities were able to recapture the fugitives in separate manhunt operations.

Two minor escapees were nabbed in the village of Poblacion, Nabunturan in Compostela Valley, while the two others -- John Gudin and Jasper Salas -- were arrested inside a lodging house in Digos City. (With reports from KRP)
