Davao City Hall executive found dead

A THIRTY-year-old officer of the Davao City General Services Office (GSO) was found dead inside his multicab parked on Berino st.. at Purok 10 in Barangay Tacunan in Tugbok District.

The victim was identified as Rhett Alvin Tecson Giongson, 33, head of inventory division of the DCGSO at the City Hall, and a resident of NHA Bangkal.

Initial investigation conducted by Senior Police Officer 1 Roldan Paradiang of Tugbok police, said residents in the area found the body of the victim on the driver's seat of the multicab bathed in his own blood.

Police said that the window of the front passenger's seat was broken.

Scene of the Crime Operatives (Soco) conducted a crime scene investigation which revealed that the victim sustained 10 stab wounds in the different parts of his body.

Soco also recovered several latent prints, a piece of stone, and black strap as evidence.

The cadaver of the victim was brought to the Anghel Funeral Homes in Calinan.

Police are still conducting follow-up investigation for them to establish a motive and arrest the killer or killers behind the incident.
