Driver shot dead

A DRIVER died after he was shot by unidentified man on Aurora st. in Barangay 23-C in Davao City on Wednesday afternoon.

Police identified the victim as Archie Ladera, 32, a tricycle driver, of Barangay 21-C. The victim was shot dead around 1:45 p.m.

Initial investigation conducted by Sta. Ana police showed that the victim was sleeping on a wooden bench beside a store when an unidentified man arrived and shot him several times.

The victim didn’t reach Southern Philippines Medical Center alive.

Witnesses said the killer boarded a motorcycle that was driven by unidentified man wearing black helmet. They sped off toward Roxas Avenue
