'Drug pusher' nabbed

POLICE added another feather to their cap as they arrested a suspected drug pusher during a buy bust operation on January 19 at 4:45 in the afternoon.

The alleged suspect identified as Roderick Banez was arrested at Mirador Hill Dominican by operatives of City Anti-Illegal Drugs-Special Operations Task Group (CAID-SOTG) of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO).

The operatives confiscated a sachet containing suspected an illegal drug, shabu, weighing approximately .11 grams amounting to P660.

It was turned over to the Crime Laboratory for analysis.

Meanwhile, a robbery incident at Rimando Road was also reported. The suspects remain unidentified, police said.

The victims were identified as Sharmaine Quia and Mark Anthony. The incident transpired between 2:50 to 5:00 in the afternoon of January 19. (Visha Calventas)
