DTI to unveil ABIP today

AFTER launching the ASEAN 2017 chairmanship last Jan. 15 in Davao City, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) will unveil today the ASEAN 2017 Business and Investment Program (ABIP).

The ABIP launching will unveil business programs for the year to complement the Philippines’ priorities under the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC).

Among the priorities identified for the Philippines’ 2017 chairmanship is the promotion of inclusive and innovation-led growth, said DTI, the agency that chairs the ASEAN Economic Ministers (AEM) and Committee on Business and Investment Promotion (CBIP).

The CBIP is an inter-agency committee established by the Philippines’ 2017 ASEAN-National Organizing Committee (ASEAN-NOC) that engages the international business community, investors, government and organizes, and supervises potential business and investment-related activities.
