Elderly man stabbed in Silay City

A 66-YEAR-OLD man was stabbed by an unidentified assailant at Patyo Pari in Barangay 5, Silay City, Negros Occidental Thursday.

Wounded was Rolly Saragoza, 66.

Superintendent Noel Polines, city police chief, said the victim Rolly Saragoza was attacked inside a hut around 11 a.m.

He sustained multiple stab wounds and was rushed to Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital in Bacolod City.

Polines said Saragoza was seen talking to a person before the incident.

They cannot yet determine if it was the same person who stabbed him.

Reports said that Saragoza was robbed, but Polines said they cannot make a conclusion until they can get a statement from the victim.
