A FARMER was shot to death by an unidentified man during a fiesta at the public plaza of Barangay Sandayao in Guihulngan City, Negros Oriental last April 30.

Superintendent Arnel Arpon, city police chief, identified the victim as Jerry Pancho of Sitio Libas, Barangay Imelda, who previously faced a homicide case.

Investigation showed the victim was standing by the roadside when the gunman fired at him and fled. He failed to reach the hospital alive.

Arpon said they are eyeing grudge as the motive of the murder because of the crime that Pancho committed.

Pancho was supposed to attend a hearing on his case when he was gunned down.

Police failed to recover the fired bullets. (GYM)
