Fedco 2 keeps bowling lead

THE Fedco 2 bowlers kept the lead after four games with a total of 2,354 pinfalls in the Mayor Inday Sara and Vice Mayor Rody Duterte Handog Pasasalamat Open Bowling Tournament at the Fairlanes Bowling Center Tuesday.

Fedco 2 relied on the services of Paul Tengosia, Rene Dalayon, Mads Lauro, Nonoy Lacuesta and Jimmy Sia.

Team Homer also stayed at No. 2 by hitting 2,318 pinfalls, followed by D' Adventurers 1, which remained at No. 3 with 2,305 pinfalls.

The Playmakers moved up to fourth from sixth place with 2,298 pinfalls while the Pinoy Bros, which garnered 2,295 pinfalls, climbed the fifth spot from No. 13 last meeting.

Diagold 1 (2,294) and Diagold 2 (2,283) took the sixth and seventh positions, respectively, as erstwhile No. 4 D' Adventurers 2 (2,280) dropped to eighth place in the meet organized by the Sunday Bowlers Club.

The D' Bamboo (2,256), Fedco 1 (2,231) and Barvorm (2,224) made it to the top 10 while Mars (2,211), Fairlanes (2,207), Maxcey's Veranda (2,182), MDC (2,177) and CD Law (2,141) trailed behind.

Two games will be played as action resumes on Thursday night in the event that stakes over P25,000 in total cash prize for the winners. (MLSA)
