Fisherman died, pals unscathed in Zamboanga Sibugay gun attack

A 50-YEAR-OLD fisherman was killed while his companions were unscathed in a gun attack off shore Zamboanga Sibugay, on Monday, February 13, the police said.

The Zamboanga Sibugay Police Office identified the victim as Raymundo Roales, 50, a resident of Sitio Siren in the village of Poblacion, Olutanga municipality.

The incident occurred around 8 a.m. in the seawater of Sawa village, Mabuhay, Zamboanga Sibugay.

Investigation showed the victim, together with some of his relatives, was fishing when two men aboard a motorboat arrived and opened fire.
