Gunman in bizman killing surrendered

THE security guard who shot dead a businessman from Dipolog City in Barangay Sto. Niño, Cebu City surrendered to the police last Monday.

Nelson Ubas said he decided to surrender because he has been bothered by his conscience, after killing Michael Malacca last May 4.

He said he got irked at Malacca for allegedly scolding and bullying him.

He hid with his relatives and friends in Ginatilan, Cebu; Bacolod City; and Manila.

Cebu City Police Office Information Officer Ramoncillo Sawan said a murder complaint has been filed agianst Ubas.
