Homer tops bowling

THE Homer bowlers struck for 1,128 pinfalls to emerge champion in the SBC Tatlohan Extravaganza at the Fairlanes Bowling Center over the weekend.

Homer, composed of Aksan, Sky and Top Amsirabe, received a cash prize of P3,000 in the meet organized by the Sunday Bowlers Club.

BCD team, on its part, hit 1,126 pinfalls for the runner-up prize of P2,000 while Fedco 2 placed third with 1,111 to pocket P1,500.

The D' Adventurers 2 garnered 1,100 to came in fourth and settle for P1,000.

BCD was bannered by Bobby Fordaliza, Dennis Descallar and Cris Betonio while Fedco 2 was composed of Rene Dalayon, Jimmy Sia and Paul Tengosia.

Ping Efondo, Boy Detuya and Nonoy Calida bannered D' Adventurers 2.

SBC president Emie Orteza, meanwhile, on Monday said the SBC 25th Kadayawan Open Bowling Tournament is all set to get underway on August 12 to 20.

"It's a five-man team, seven-game elimination series where the top four teams will play the step-the-ladder round. The championship is slated August 20," Orteza said. (MLSA)
