HQ, BCPSMC, TMU, PS 6,7 enter BCPO's semis cagefest

FOUR teams will slug it out in the semi-final round of the Bacolod City Police Office Inter Color Basketball Tournament.

In the first game, Number 1 seed Bacolod City Public Safety Management Company (Maroon) team will be facing Police Station 6,7 (Blue/White).

The second game will be between Number 2 seed Headquarters group (Black) and Traffic Management Unit (Gold).

The semi-final round will start on January 21, 2010 at the Amphi-Theater of the University of Negros Occidental - Recoletos. Game starts at 2 p.m.

The champion team will receive P10,000 plus a trophy while the first and second runners up will receive P7,000 and P5,000 plus trophies, respectively.

Bacolod City Police Officer-In-Charge, Police Senior Superintendent Celestino Guara Jr. is inviting the public to watch and enjoy the games.

On the other hand, the Bacolod City Public Safety Management Company finished its second round campaign by defeating Police Stations 1,2,3 in the first game 76-70 Tuesday at the Amphi-Theater of UNO - Recoletos.

In the second game, The Traffic Management Unit under playing coach Police Senior Inspector Levy Pangue poured all their might by trouncing the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology 99-89. (BCPO)
