THE Hungry Ape posted its second win after beating the debuting DIBL All-Stars in the resumption of Basketball Avenue Open Tournament last Sunday, November 5, at the Rizal Memorial Colleges Fil Oil Flying V Arena recently.

Tophe Lacida went strong in the payoff period, sinking nine of his total 20 points.

The DIBL All-Stars, however, relied on Keboy Quijote who scored 21 in a losing effort.

Myrzia's Koleksyon, for its part, escaped past Davao Group, 105-100, via overtime.

Myrzia's Abanes poured in 29 points including six in the five-minute extension while Lacabon scored 22.

Emar Red Stags, meanwhile, survived past A.O.E. Black Leg Gamefarm, 79-74, as Jovanie Jimenez and Greggy Delica scoring 17 and 12 points, respectively.

The cagefest, supported by Cherrylume, The Royal Mandaya Hotel, Bearing Center and Machinery Inc., Mahugani Security Agency and the City Government of Davao, will resume on Sunday, November 12.
