THE Junior Chamber International (JCI)-Chicks and the City of Kabankalan Football Club recently held a football clinic in Hinoba-an town dubbed as Free Kicks (Football Runs to Earn Education Keeping Individual Competent and Knowledgeable through Sport).

The activity covered all elementary and secondary students in Hinoba-an as mentioned by JCI and CKFC president Augustine Rey Rivas.

“The football clinic aims to promote football in the Sixth District of Negros Occidental and encourage players to keep playing until they their skills are enhanced. This will help them get scholarship benefits from big colleges and universities,” Rivas said, adding that the event is in line with JCI’s project for peace.

Late last year, JCI also conducted a clinic for players and coaches with Kabankalan City-born Andrew Garingalao, an Asian Football Confederation Licensed football coach who is now residing in Australia, as their guest. (HGD)
