Magalang police bust suspected drug pushers

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga -- Two suspected drug pushers were apprehended by policemen during a buy-bust operation in Barangay San Nicolas, Magalang, Pampanga recently.

Superintendent Anna Liza Guzman, chief of police of Magalang identified the suspects as Bernard Ira alias Ka Bok, 35, a resident of Barangay Sinalhan, Sta. Rosa, Laguna and Ronald Manalastas, 24, a resident of Barangay Salangan, San Miguel, Bulacan.

Guzman said that anti-illegal drug operatives successfully arrested the two suspects in a buy-bust operation after selling to a poseur buyer suspected shabu.

She said that the suspects were operating in Magalang and nearby towns and were under surveillance until their arrest.

Guzman said operatives were able to confiscate 15 small size heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance or shabu and P1,000 as marked money.

The two arrested suspects are presently detained at the office of Magalang Police. (Ric Sapnu)
