Sunnexdesk

SAN SIMON -- Mayor Leonora Wong urged her constituents to strictly follow the Solid Waste Management ordinance of the town and practice segregation in disposing their garbage.

Wong told Sun.Star Pampanga that the Municipal Government has three Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) in three barangays of this town.

Wong added that the local government is eyeing 11 more MRFs for its Solid Waste Management program.

She also said that the local government is strictly implementing the “No segregation, No collection,” policy to engage the constituents to practice segregation.

Wong also instructed the barangay chairmen and kagawads to educate their constituents in properly disposing their garbage.

“We can have a clean and green municipality when the people know how to properly handle their garbage and practice waste segregation,” said Wong. (Kristine Venet Q. Andal)
