CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Central Luzon (PDEA-3) nabbed a notorious drug pusher and seized some P250,000 worth of suspected shabu in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Bagong Barrio, Pandi, Bulacan on January 30, 2016.

PDEA Regional Director Gladys Rosales identified the suspect as Christopher Bryan Sebastian, alias Bryan, male, 34, a resident of Barangay Bagong Barrio, Pandi, Bulacan.

Rosales said that Sebastian's parents are incumbent elected officials.

“His father is an incumbent barangay captain of the said barangay and his mother is an incumbent city councilor of Pandi, Bulacan which makes him untouchable in the locality,” Rosales added.

The transaction took place at Barangay Cupang, Pandi, Bulacan but upon sensing that he will be entrapped, Sebastian eluded arrest using a white dump truck as his getaway vehicle. A gun fight ensued between the suspect and PDEA operatives which resulted in the gunshot wound afflicted against the suspect.

The sting yielded seven transparent plastic sachets containing 57 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P250,000 and marked money used in the buy-bust operation.

The suspect is now detained in PDEA Jail Facility in Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga. Charges for violation of Section 5 (selling of dangerous drugs) of Article II of Republic Act 9165 is being readied for filing in court. (PDEA-3)
