NTU Tigers shine in CPJ National Championships

NEGROS Taekwondo Union Tigers of coach Crystal Pauline Reyes shone brightest in the Carlos Palanca Jr. National Taekwondo Championships in Manila, bringing home four golds, two silvers, and a bronze.

Negros Occidental High School’s Arianne Espida ruled the female Cadet bantamweight in the kyorugi event while Maria Charlize Subardiaga of St. John’s Institute, Jamie Hannah Agaloos of Tangub Christian Academy, and Leigh Andee Rodriguez of Christian Ventures Academy starred in the female Cadet team poomsae event.

Rodriguez also finished silver in the female Cadet fin-fly category in the kyorugi event alongside Subardiaga for the Cadet featherweight.

After winning the gold in poomsae, Agaloos settled for bronze in the female Cadet individual.
