Padilla: Silahis ng Pasko Christmas Season Sched Started in High Gear

THREE joyful and glorious Christmas Season caring and sharing endeavors marking the 44th Year Anniversary of Silahis ng Pasko sa Baguio 2017 went on high gear a few days ago.

On December 1, close to 5,000 CSWDO Day Care and PHASES Learning Center pupils and their parents joined the Children – Parents’ Christmas Mardigras along Session Road.

The marchers displayed a collage of colorful costumes inspired The Nativity which took 2,000 years ago in Bethlehem.

The special presentation ended at the Melvin Jones Grandstand at Burnham Park where City Mayor Mauricio Domogan and Congressman Mark Go praised and congratulated the mardigras participants and the hardworking project executive-organizers of the big show of talent and skills.

The day’s affair highlight was the coronation ceremony honoring the Little Miss and Mr. Baguio winners.

The entourage included the City Executive, BCPO Director Ramil Saculles, SNPB Chairperson Betty Fangasan and parents of the honorees.

Last Sunday, December 3, the Philippine Military Academy AFP “Cadets Day at the Park” Yuletide show took the center stage at Burnham Park.

The PMA Class of 2018 was extremely skilful and entertaining. The Cadets executed with precision with their razor sharp execution of Manual of Arms, flying rifle stunts, and their grace and skills in modern dancing, among others.
