A LOW pressure area forming in the east of Mindanao may develop into a weather disturbance by Wednesday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.

Caraga and Davao regions, Northern Mindanao and Zamboanga Peninsula will be cloudy with light to moderate rains becoming frequent on coastal side which may be heavy during thunderstorms.

The tail end of the cold front is also expected to affect Bicol region and Eastern Visayas, while the northern part of the Luzon will be partly cloudy to cloudy with light rainshowers and isolated thunderstorms this Wednesday, October 6.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will be partly cloudy to cloudy with light rains and sometimes it will have isolated rains and thunderstorms in the afternoon.

The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to with isolated thunderstorm.

By Thursday and Friday, north easterlies dominate the extreme northern and northern Luzon area, while the cyclonic system continues to draw nearer to Visayas and Mindanao.

Pagasa also said extreme northern and northern Luzon will continue to experience partly cloudy skies with light rains.

The whole of the Visayas and Mindanao will have partly cloudy skies to becoming mostly cloudy in the afternoon or evening, while scattered to widespread rainshowers in the coastal areas on Friday at the end of the forecast period.

The Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will be partly cloudy to cloudy with passing light rain and isolated thunderstorms.

No tropical cyclone is expected to form or enter within the Philippine Area of Responsibility during the first half of the outlook period.

The outlook will be updated shall there be significant changes in the weather pattern.
