Pampanga towns to experience 9-hour power interruption

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- Parts of Pampanga will experience up to nine hours of power interruption on Wednesday, June 11.

"Customers of Pelco II and SFELAPCO-Florida will have outage from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.," National Grid Corporation of the Philippines Central Luzon Corporate Communications and Public Affairs officer Ernest Lorenz Vidal said.

Affected are the towns of Bacolor, Sta. Rita, Sasmuan, Porac, Lubao, Guagua, and Floridablanca.

"Reasons of brownout is to facilitate annual preventive maintenance of the 1.5MVA transformer and its associated power equipment at Basa Substation and replacement of old wood poles along Hermosa-Guagua 69kV line. Normal operations will immediately resume after work completion," Vidal added. (CLJD/MJLS-PIA 3)
