PMA homecoming all set

FORT DEL PILAR -- Over 2,000 alumni of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) and their families are expected to flock the Asia’s foremost military institution on February 20.

Flores said politicians, who are either alumni or adopted members, are expected to attend. “We maintain a no politicking policy here.”

Festivities kick off on the 18th with sporting activities. The parade will be graced by honorable Narciso Abaya, chairman of the Bases Conversion Development Authority (BCDA).

Flores said security measure and traffic scheme will also be observed for the event.

Golden Jubilarians this year are the 48 man strong Class of 1960, while the Silver Jubilarians include the 195-member of the Sandiwa Class of 1985.

Awards will likewise be given to outstanding alumni during the ceremonies.
