Police arrest 3 in Bulacan for various cases

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga -- Police arrested three wanted persons in Bulacan as a result of the “Lambat-Sibat” anti-criminality campaign in Central Luzon.

Senior Superintendent Sidney Villaflor, Regional Public Safety Battalion chief, identified suspects as Reynaldo Villarama, 42; Leonardo Mental, 33, and Mario Benitez, 35, all of Barangay Bancal, Meycauyan, Bulacan.

Villaflor said RPSB3 personnel simultaneously implemented warrant of arrest against the three.

He added that the suspects are wanted for rape, qualified theft and possessions of illegal drugs, respectively.

Villarama was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Judge Herminigildo Dumlao of Regional Trial Court branch 81, Bulacan for rape while Mental was apprehended under a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Manuel Ortiguerra of RTC branch 8 for illegal possessions of drugs.

Benitez was charged with of qualified theft, the report said.

The arrested wanted persons were brought to the Meycauayan City Police Station for proper disposition and documentation.
