THE pre-trial for the parents of Kean Gabriel Agustin accused of killing the three-year-old boy is set on December 6, 2016.

Kean's mother Grace Gilaga Agustin, and his stepfather Sonny Boy Mendoza will face the Regional Trial Court Branch 52.

The two were earlier arraigned last October 18 for parricide and murder.

It was reported that Kean died due to head injuries after he was placed in a sack and was hit repeatedly with a wood by his stepfather and left on top of a cabinet, where he fell to the floor.

Agustin was also previously indicted for parricide as the City Prosecutor's Office resolved that she was there the whole time but did not do anything to save her son.

Kean’s sister, an eyewitness to the incident, also positively identified their stepfather as the one who placed his brother inside the sack.
