AS part of its advocacies to protect the environment, Priland Development Corp. announced its effort to plant at least 23,000 trees, including mangroves, in the town of Jetafe in Bohol Province.

Marcelino Relampagos, Priland’s general manager, said that this tree-planting program will be implemented in the first quarter of 2018, in coordination with the local government of Jetafe.

Relampagos told SunStar Cebu during the launching of Belize North, its newest development project in Barangay Jugan, Consolacion, Cebu, that the tree-planting will also be held in compliance with the Cebuano real estate development company’s environmental compliance certificate (ECC).

Relampagos assured that the trees will be constantly monitored to ensure the sustainability of the program. (JTG)
