PSBank sweeps top honors in the 26th World HRD Congress

THE 26th World HRD Congress’ jury members bestowed the awards on PSBank vice president and HR Group head Mark Lord Limson during the three-day conference.

Philippine Savings Bank (PSBank), the thrift bank arm of Metrobank Group, won top human resource (HR) awards for its innovative HR practices at the recently concluded 26th World HRD Congress last February 15-17 at Taj Lands End, Mumbai, India.

PSBank was awarded the 2018 Global Best Employer Brand and the Continuous Innovation in HR Strategy at Work.

Limson was recognized as one of the 100 Top Global HR Minds.

Meanwhile, PSBank president Vicente R. Cuna Jr. is the lone Filipino awardee to have been conferred the CEO with HR Orientation award.

The World HRD Congress recognized the thrift lender's exemplary initiatives and practices, particularly in simplifying employment processes with the use of automation, strengthening employee engagement through the use of internal social media, nurturing talents through career development programs, and boosting talent acquisition to become the top-of-mind employer of choice.

The India-based award giving body annually recognizes and appreciates the valuable contribution that the Human Resource professionals bring to the organization by aligning people strategy with Business Strategy. These awards were evaluated by an eminent jury comprising of senior professionals based on a pre-defined criteria. (PR)
