THE registration on the 2010 Panaad sa Negros Marathon is ongoing at the Negros Occidental Provincial Sports Development Office (PSDO) during office hours until March 15.
PSDO personnel said Thursday those who wish to compete to the said event can now register in PSDO located at the ground floor of the main grandstand of the Panaad Sports and Recreational Park.
The event features a centerpiece 10-kilometer run from Murcia to the Panaad grounds on March 25 while other events include the following:
* A three-kilometer run for Under-13 boys and girls on March 23;
* A five-kilometer run for Under-17 boys and girls on March 24;
* A three-kilometer run for women of all ages (open to all women with no age specifications) on March 25;
* A five-kilometer run for men of all ages (Open) also on March 25.
Interested parties may register their names now at the PSDO during office hours with no registration fees being charged.
The competition is part of the year-round sports development program of the Provincial Sports Development Office headed by Manuel de Oro.
