UNHERALDED Jess Rule emerged champion in the Davao Tenpin Bowling Association (Datba) Weekly Qualifying Tournament held Tuesday evening at the NCCC Mall Davao B3 Center lanes.

Rule hit a total of 697 pinfalls, outclassing Rene Dalayon and optometrist Billy Magdale who settled for the second and third, respectively.

Dalayon rolled a total of 616 pins while Magdale garnered 614 pins.

The champion took home P800, while second and third placers got P600 and P400, respectively.

Rule then earned a spot in the monthly finals along with Fernie Ballano, Magdale, Roy Camilo Tan, Oslec Garcia and Dianne Galendez who topped the previous qualifying tournaments held recently. (RSA)
