CLOSURE. President Rodrigo Duterte has approved the recommendation of the inter-agency task force on Boracay to close the famous beach destination for six months starting April 26.

KIDNAP. Alleged members of a kidnap-for-ransom-group (KFRG) have seized an employee of a marine product firm in Zamboanga Sibugay province.

MALIGN. The Office of the Cebu City Prosecutor indicted a man who allegedly maligned his relative by calling her a swindler in a Facebook post in 2016.
