SJS-LS 1st Ruby bowlfest opens today

THE St. Joseph School-La Salle will open the 20th Alumni Bowling Tournament 1st Ruby Cup at 3:30 p.m. at the Lopue's East Bowling Center, Burgos St., Bacolod City.

The event is hosted by the Blue Knights Class '70 headed by Engr. Tony Genovea.

A Holy Mass will commence the program at 2 p.m. at the SJS-LS Chapel to be administered by Rev. Fr. Alex Araneta, celebrant Chaplain, of Doctor's Hospital. It will be followed by a motorcade en route SJS-LS to Lopue's East Bowling Center where registration will take place.

Boy Wingpo, technical director, will then present the participating teams from various batches, followed by the official opening of the tournament led by Joe Cusay, tournament commissioner.

A ceremonial roll will officially start the game with SJS-LS president Bro. Rey Suplido, FSC and Mrs. Lourdes Hiponia giving the first strike.

Tournament prizes will be awarded to the highest single (men & ladies), highest double, highest triple and highest pinning.
