SAINT Louis University and Berkeley School marches on the semis with unscathed record eyeing to retain their championship crown in the Milo BEST Center Twin Tournament.

The SLU–Laboratory High School emerged as the top seed in bracket A of the passerelle division while Berkeley topped their respective bracket in the SBP division as it seeks another return to the Luzon regional finals slated later this year.

The passerelle defending champion SLU faces a gritty Baguio City High School squad in their semis match–up while the other pairings will see Berkeley gunning for a shot at the finals against a tough University of the Cordilleras High School squad.

In the SBP division, Berkeley, the number seed in bracket A takes on bracket B second seed Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Montessori while SLU-Laboratory Elementary School, after topping bracket B, will square off against bracket A number two team Saint Louis College La Union.

SLU-LHS seeks its fourth straight title in the passerelle division while Berkeley guns for its fifth straight crown.

For more than 30 years, the SBP/Passerelle Twin Tournament provides an avenue for young cagers to apply what they learned from basketball training and showcase their skills on the court.

Aside from the Baguio games, elimination matches will also be held in other areas of Luzon, the National Capital Region, Visayas and Mindanao to determine which teams will qualify for the regional championships.

The SBP division is for players aged 9 to 11, while Passerelle division, conceived to act as a bridge between the SBP and the Juniors Division for players 18 and under, is for 12 to 14 year old.

Organized by the Basketball Efficiency Scientific Training (BEST) Center, the country’s premiere sports clinic, 32nd SBP-Passerelle is supported by MILO in cooperation with Rain or Shine Elasto Paints, Chris Sports and SKLZ. It provides a venue for young cagers to apply what they learned from basketball trainings and showcase their skills.
