Local hangout the Camp is now powered by Smart!

Telecommunications giant Smart recently launched its newest connectivity innovation, SmartSpots, in one of Baguio City’s favorite hangout, The Camp.

SmartSpots allows 30 Wi-Fi minutes of internet browsing at no charge without affecting existing data promos with a speed up to 100mbps.

The Camp is now part of a group of establishments powered by SmartSpots which will permanently provide the internet service to their mixed audience of digital natives and immigrants.

Nina Escano, SMART community relationship supervisor for north Luzon said the Camp is the 16th SmartSpot to be launched along with Makati City, Metro Cebu and La Union and is on a nationwide campaign to wire key zones with Smart Wifi.

SmartSpots is aimed to allow subscribers to experience the speed, power, and convenience of a digital lifestyle while in the comforts of cafes, restaurants and malls for free.

Escano said Smart plans to tap more establishments to build a community of SmartSpots in the Mountain City.
