SPS relentless in 9-1 win in DFA U-14 games

SOUTH Point School (SPS) obliterated DDS-Khanj in a 9-1 victory at the start of the Davao Football Association (DFA) Under-14 Girls Championships held at the Tiongko football field over the weekend.

SPS's Zea Abigail Relana opened the scoring with a goal in the 15th minute but Nicki Velasco of DDS-Khanj equalized in the 27th minute to draw level.

Loren Mae Lanoy and Rosamy Caballes made back to back goals in the 30th and 35th minutes, respectively, to hold a 3-1 advantage before Lanoy knocked in five straight goals in the 45th, 50th, 55th, 60th, and 70th minutes to make it 8-1.

Elinor Lopez secured the final goal in the to seal the victory, 9-1.

Other participating teams include Ateneo de Davao Unversity-Grade School (AdDU-GS), Lady Knights Football Club (FC), Sakya FC, Real Digos FC, Rizal Memorial College-Columbia FC.

The bootfest is supported by Khanj T-shirt Maker, GHT Water Refilling Station and Laundry Shop, Hinex Janitorial and Allied Services and FC Wao. (KRP)
