THE Eastern Mindanao Command of the Armed Forces of the Philippines revealed that there has been no word yet coming from survey inspectors of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) abducted by armed men, not even from their abductors.

The environment personnel were taken by armed men in barangay New Leyte, Maco, Compostela Valley, Friday afternoon.

Captain Alberto Caber, Public Information Office of Eastmincom, said this to Sun.Star Davao SuperBalita.

The crisis management committee created, headed by Maco Vice Mayor Voltaire Rimando also does not have any information yet on who abducted Kendrik Wong, Nico Lasaca, Chris Favila, Matthew Cua, Jonas Loredo, and Tim Sabina.

In the initial report from the police, the personnel were in New Leyte to survey and validate the National Greening Program project there. (AD)
