A PALACE official said in a radio report Friday morning that the government will create an elite strike force to respond against possible hostage incidents in the country.
Communications Operation Secretary Sonny Coloma said the strike force will compose of 200 policemen and 200 Philippine Army members.
This, after eight foreign tourists were killed in a hostage drama in front of the Quirino Grandstand in Manila on Monday.
Coloma said the force will be deployed in any part of the country based on President Benigno Aquino III's order. (Sunnex)
