Tabuk holds mobile licensing on September 12

TABUK CITY, Kalinga -- The City Government of Tabuk in partnership with the Professional Regulation Commission Region 2 will conduct a whole-day mobile licensing services on September 12.

According to Francis Dale Biag of the City Public Employment Service Office, services include licensure examination application for those aspiring to have their professional license and renewal of PRC IDs and licenses.

Requirements for the licensure examination include original and photocopies of Transcript of Records with Special Order and sate of graduation, with scanned pictures and with remarks "For Board Examination Purposes Only"; original and photocopy of National Statistics Office-issued birth certificate and for married females, original and photocopies of NSO-issued Marriage Contract. If NSO copy is not clear, bring copy from Local Civil Registrar; two passport-size colored pictures with white background and complete name tag; current year Community Tax Certificate and other specific requirements as required by the Commission or the Professional Regulatory Board.

Graduates of government schools and institutions/programs accredited by recognized accredited agencies under the FAAP are exempted from SO. Graduates of new schools/degree programs must submit School Recognition and/or Permit to Operate.

On the other hand, those planning to renew their licenses must bring their duly accomplished form; two passport size picture: close up, colored, white background with complete name tag; photo/xerox copy of recent professional ID card; and in case of lost professional ID card which is still current, the applicant must submit notarized Affidavit of Loss and on case of destroyed professional ID card, the applicant must also surrender the destroyed card. Renewal forms are available at www.prc.gov.ph.

The following are the professions are also required to submit an updated certificate of membership or certificate of good standing from their respective Accredited Professional Organization (APO) prior to the renewal of PRC license: Agricultural Engineers, Architects, Customs Brokers, Electrical Engineers, Electronics Engineers, Geodetic Engineers, Guidance and Counseling, Interior Designers, Landscape Architects, and Mechanical Engineers.

The activity rendered by the city government under the leadership of City Mayor Ferdinand Tubban aims to bring national government services closer to help the local workforce.
