Tagum lending shop ransacked

ROBBERS ran off with P35,000 worth of cash and valuables from a lending company in Barangay Magugpo West, Tagum City, Saturday morning.

Asset and Credit Loan, Inc. manager Rommel Hampac, who reported the incident to the Tagum police, said that one of their employees, Rey Paeldan, discovered that a portion of the ceiling of their shop was broken at around 7:45 a.m. when he reported for work.

Cash, three cell phone units, 1 Seiko wristwatch and a .9mm pistol were stolen from the establishment, which totaled to more than P35,000.

Police believe the crime took place on Friday night while the establishment was closed.
