NEW Davao Tenpin Bowlers Association (Datba) president Ramsey Tancontian emerged champion in the weekly qualifying bowling tournament held at the NCCC Mall B3 Center Lanes over the weekend.

Tancontian, who was elected last December 2016 replacing former president Rene Dalayon, struck for a total of 804 pinfalls after four games.

He defeated Joshua Discuacido and Lee Martin who placed second and third, respectively. Discuacido scored 779 while Martin rolled 777 pins.

Tancontian pocketed P1,000 while Discuacido got P600 and Martin took home P400. (ABM)
