Tangub City exhibit at SM Seaside City

A CULTURAL troupe from Tangub City held its ribbon cutting ceremony for the Tangub City exhibit at the SM Seaside City, upper ground floor, City Wing atrium. The exhibit showcased all of its Sinulog winning costumes in celebration of its 25th anniversary.

Tangub City Mayor Philip T. Tan led the cutting of the ribbon alongside his wife, former mayor Dr. Jennifer Wee Tan, Boni Almendras of SM Supermalls, its regional director Catalino E. Chan III, Rep. Henry S. Oaminal and DOT 10 regional director Marie Elaine Unchuan.

The Sinanduloy Cultural Troupe was founded in 1992 for tourism, culture and for the development of the youth in Tangub City and is now famous for its annual participation in the Sinulog Festival. Throughout its 19 years of participation in the Sinulog Festival, the troupe has garnered several awards including 11 grand prizes and best in street dancing, musicality and Sinulog Queen. This organization has performed in various parts of the country and has built a repertoire of mostly Philippine music and dances. The exhibit is open 10 a.m.-9 p.m. from Jan. 10 to Jan. 14. Carlos F.
