THE alleged killer of Barangay Communal Kagawad Domingo Pepito Tano was charged for criminal complaint before the Davao City Prosecutor's Office last January 6, 2017.

Philip Roy Lozano, 43, was charged with murder before the CPO.

Based on reports, three witnesses positively identified Lozano as the suspect but he denied the allegation.

Tano was shot by an unidentified man while he was playing cards with some relatives at his house at Purok 4, Communal Village in Buhangin District, Davao City around 2 p.m. of January 3.

Based on earlier reports, the killer arrived on a red Honda XRM motorcycle and shot the victim several times, hitting him three times in the chest, neck and head.

The case is currently resolved by Prosecutor Myla Comendador-Lao.
