A 17-YEAR-OLD boy is in critical condition after he was shot by five unidentified men at Alijis-Circumferential Road in Barangay Alijis, Bacolod City early Thursday morning, August 24.

Police Station 7 head Ramil Sarona said the victim, who has yet to be identified, was walking around 3:50 a.m. when he heard gunfire.

He ran and noticed that he was shot in the head.

Some residents called for police assistance and the victim was brought to Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital.

Sarona said they have yet to establish the motive and identify the assailants, but they are looking into the possibility that the incident might have been triggered by a group conflict.

The police is facing difficulty in identifying the victim because nobody has visited him at the hospital.

The boy stands between 5'2" and 5'6," and wears a white shirt and blue pants.
